Meema

i said goodbye to my beloved "Meema" yesterday...over the phone unfortunately...  She is dying of old age.  She lived a wonderful fullfilling life and touched many people.  I will never forget the great times of my childhood swimming in her pool in Atlanta or learning how to play bridge with her.  We used to have a boardgame called "even elephants forget", and she would always draw the "weeds" card which means you loose a turn.  .She would cry out "Oh no! the darned weeds"!  She never had a negative word to say about anyone, and was always ready for a hand of bridge or a braves game on tv, where she would clap and cheer when her favorite player of the time went   up to bat!
     Meema, I will miss you dearly.  We will still play bridge and think of you fondly during the holidays and always.  We will see you again someday in heaven.....
